Integrated Component Configuration |
The Integrated Component dialog can handle any type of panel components (partition, zone...etc) under any type of panel (intrusion, temperature control,...etc).
1 - From the Devices toolbar, select the Integrated Component button.
2 - Select the Component from the drop-down list.
3 - Select the Component type .
4 - Click on the Configuration Form button to display the DSC Power Series dialog.
5 - For a User component type, enter the User access code. This code is a PIN number used for arming or disarming a partition.
6 - For a Simplex panel, select proper values to define the fire panel device point. Once the device is granted an address (manually or automatically from IDNet import), the user will not be allowed to change it unless the point is deleted and another one is created.
The purpose of that feature is to create "virtual" zones in an alarm panel that will receive commands from groups of selected input, doors and other events of a gateway. These commands are then transmitted from the panel to a central station.
• Select a Component type from the drop-down list (Door, Input or Event).
• For an Event component type, select an event (please refer to the following table for a list of events based on the selected component type).
• For a Door or Input component type, indicate the component source (controller)
• Check the appropriate Component action to be reported for the virtual zone and click OK.
8 - If the Video feature is enabled, the Video view field appears (for zones and partitions only). If this is the case, select the Video view in which you want the defined component to appear. For details on defining video views, see Video Views Definition .
9 - From the Graphic list, you may select the graphic to which the application is assigned, if applicable (for zones and partitions only). For details on defining graphics, see Graphics Definition .
10 - Click Save .
See Manual Operations on Integrated Panels to complete the configuration.
